The celebration of Diwali the festival of lights came alive at Montfort School, Roorkee on October 23-25, 2019 when students presented a special assembly. The children, dressed up as various characters from the Ramayana, replicated Lord Rama’s reunion and return to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana in a battle. They also demonstrated how good always conquers the evil and why and how Diwali is celebrated across the country. Students also depicted the ill-effects of bursting fire crackers through a small act. The program included smashing dance performances by the students. Our Principal Rev. Bro. Albert Abraham appreciated the program and sensitized the students about ill-effects of fire crackers. He stressed on clean, peaceful and eco-friendly Diwali.
