Competition - Bursting the balloons
To make students develop an interest and love for mathematics, a competition named Bursting the balloons was conducted on 15th July’2022 for the students of class VIII. The teams were made according to the sections of the class with 8 students in each team. The students were supposed to burst certain number of balloons in a given time period inorder to get the questions for solving. There were three rounds in total with 5 questions per round for each team. The questions were based on general knowledge of mathematics, reasoning and logical thinking. The students had a wonderful time, bursting the balloons and brainstorming for the answers of the questions. The co-ordinator Mrs. Lizy James boosted up the confidence of the participants.
