Indian festivals reflect
the rich cultural abundance. These festivals bring with them a wave of excitement, happiness and hope even in the most difficult times.
On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan we organised several activities through virtual platform on 21-08-2021 (Saturday) to make students understand the true essence of the festival and the sacred relation of a brother and a sister.
Our teachers highlighted the significance of the festival. They explained the meaning of the tradition of tying a holy thread ‘ Rakhi ’ around the wrist of brothers by their sisters.
Students made Eco-friendly Rakhi for their siblings using different materials like leaves, pulses, dry fruits, beans, whole spices, etc.
Students performed on an Action Song based on this pure and beautiful sibling bond which filled everyone’s heart with joy and satisfaction.
