Sponge Dabbing Activity and Crochet Activity for Primary Classes.
To enhance the motor skills and artistic abilities of the little ones, Montfort School Roorkee, organized engaging activities for its primary classes on 20th July 2024.
A Sponge Dabbing Activity was held for the students of classes 1 and 2
The activity involved using sponges of various shapes and sizes dipped in colorful paint. Students were guided to dab these sponges onto paper, creating vibrant and imaginative artworks. The children thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with different colors and patterns, resulting in a wide array of beautiful and unique designs.
Simultaneously, a Crochet Activity was conducted for the students of classes 3, 4, and 5. This activity aimed at introducing the students to the art of crochet, promoting patience, concentration, and fine motor skills.
The children brought yarn and crochet hooks, and they practiced creating simple patterns such as chains and small motifs. The activity was designed to be both educational and enjoyable, allowing students to explore a new craft and develop a sense of accomplishment.
The young participants eagerly took part in the creative session and hands-on activities such as above have notably enriched the students' learning experience, fostering both academic and personal growth.
