HARELA FESTIVAL - 2024 (PRIMARY SECTION).
To promote environmental awareness, cultural heritage and community bonding among students and protect nature, Harela festival was celebrated in Montfort School Roorkee on July 15, 2024.
The day began with a special assembly, where students showcased traditional dances, songs, and music, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. Activities for Classes 1- 5 were organized, where students created paintings and drawings inspired by the spirit of Harela and environmental conservation. A rally was also organized to create awareness among the students.
The Harela celebration in school was a grand success, promoting cultural heritage, environmental awareness, and community bonding. We look forward to continuing this tradition annually, inspiring our students to respect and protect nature.
