Message for Parents
The school can do a lot for your child but it cannot do everything. A home is the place where a child gets his/her first education and training in citizenship. It is the place where his/her character is formed and nurtured. Indeed, education in school promotes the growth of personality and helps the child to discover and develop his/her talents and abilities. But in order to secure the best of education for your child, maximum cooperation between parents and the school is vital. The task of helping our children to become good citizens is best done through partnership between the school and parents.

We earnestly request parents to check their child’s handbook on a daily basis and see to it that homework assigned for the next day is completed. Parents can exchange notes with the subject teachers through the pages of the diary about the quality and quantity of work attempted by their children. However, entries should pertain only to the child’s academic performance or conduct. The principal / Headmistress conveys the same in a separate letter. Criticism of a teacher should be avoided in the presence of the child because it undermines his / her respect for teachers and the school. Giving gifts to the staff or any other demonstrations of gratitude or goodwill in their honour, must be avoided. Let our commitment to the future of our children help us to establish a fruitful collaboration between the family and the school.
