Admission and Withdrawal

Admission and Withdrawal

The school session starts in April and ends in March. Normally, admission is done only in class 1. Those seeking admission should be within the age group of 5 ½ and 6 ½ years on April 1st of the year of admission. The age requirement for other classes will follow the above rule. Admission to other classes will depend on vacancies available and information regarding this can be obtained from the school office/notice board, a few days before the beginning of the new academic session. Admissions are made on the basis of an interview and entrance examination.

The merit of the student is the sole criterion for selection. The school does not charge capitation fee. Offers of donations and bringing influence to bear on the management with a view to gain admission etc. will entail disqualification of the candidate. The application for Admission/Registration should be accompanied by an authentic document containing the child's Date of Birth. We accept Date of Birth certificates only from the Corporation or Village Panchayat. Affidavit or Hospital Certificate will not be accepted. A student coming from an affiliated and recognized school should produce a Transfer Certificate clearly stating the Date of Birth. The Principal reserves to himself the right to refuse admission to any student (without furnishing any reason).

Note

Any student found resorting to unfair means and receiving and giving assistance in any form during tests/examination will be given a zero in the subject and a warning letter. Repetition of the same will result in dismissal from the school.

  • Once the Date of Birth is registered in the school records it will not be altered.
  • If you have taken admission/completed registration of your ward and then decide that you don't want to continue, you will have to pay the School as well as the Bus Fee for the following three months .The school will not refund the fee even if your ward has not attended a single day of school.
  • For withdrawal of a student from the school, one month's notice must be given in writing otherwise one month's fee will be charged.
  • The school Management, acting through the Principal, requests the withdrawal of a student who fails for two consecutive years in the same class.
